GlassGuard® offer a range of “open rated” IP65 fluorescent fittings incorporating GlassGuard BlackBand® technology manufactured to BS EN 61549 (IEC 61549) as standard.

Our range of fluorescent fittings do not require any diffuser covers or clips which can degrade or get broken over time, adding cost to your business. The water and dustproof IP65 rating still allows washing and cleaning to a high level for maintaining hygiene standards. Please note however, our plastic luminaire fittings are not designed for environments that are subject to heavy chemical cleaning, in particular high strength sodium hypochlorite, and the fittings may degrade if they are exposed for prolonged periods to certain chemicals.  If you need a fluorescent fitting for an environment subject to chemical cleaning, we recommend that you contact one of our sales team to check which of our products would be most suitable for you.
